Have you seen "Rope", an oldie with Jimmy Stewart? I always like to recommend it as it is one of my few opportunities to suggest a really cool, somewhat obscure film that many would be film afficianados are not familiar with.
"Rope" is a rather dark film about a couple of college buddies that murder a third (inferior they feel) college buddy, then serve dinner to their (and his) friends and family with him entombed under the table.
Sounds crazy, right? Well, it makes for quite a quirkly little film, one I recommend.
I'm curious to hear people's picks for best movie of all time. I know picking just one is a difficult task.
For me I've always said 12 Monkeys when this question is asked but recently I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time. (I know, I can't believe it took me this long to see it either) I have to say 2001 is challenging 12 Monkeys for that top spot now.
A friend of mine was able to get a hold of the trailer for Hellboy II:

It looks to be really good. This time around, they are working more as a team. I'm just wondering if they are going to have someone act as the mentor for the team since the original mentor was killed off in the last movie. Of course, they might bring him back to life. That would REALLY be a bad idea though (would seem too cheesy).
Here's the trailer for Resident Evil: Degeneration

The one right before this one was kind of unbelieveable in some parts. I liked the ending. After watching this trailer, I think the directors went in a different direction with Degeneration than what you would think they would do from the ending of Apocolypse. Not sure. Comments?
Make a 1-3 film for Filmaka and you could win funding to direct your feature film. The commpetition is judged by international film professionals, including Werner Herzog, Zak Penn, and Deepak Nayar. Each month there is a new theme and 10-20 filmmakers receive $500-$3000. Three of them go on to compete for feature funding. Last year's final winner, Nuru Rimington-Mkali, got $5 million to direct his film! This month's theme is Truth or Dare - if you've got an idea (or think you can come up with one), go to www.filmaka.com/truthordare . For more details contact me at khushikhanna2005@gmail.com

Thumbs way up for "Rope".
Wow. It seems that Rocky 6 is getting rave reviews out of the age. Sly still has it, apparently.
